Fellow Clint Barton fan, Josh talks to Jim about the famed archer and his wife, the return to the purple costume, the roots of his affection for the characters, and his still young writing career. We also talk about McCann's upcoming original graphic novel with Archaia Studios Press, Return of the Dapper Men.

* Coming out of the heroic age, Hawkeye and Mockingbird #1 will debut in June with an extra sized issue, following a short story in Enter the Heroic Age in May.
* Clint and Bobbie will continue their adventures with their group, the World Counter-Terrorism Agency, or the W.C.A., which sounds a lot like an acronym for West Coast Avengers, complete with a new high tech headquarters
* The title will be set up by Brian Michael Bendis in New Avengers #63 and #64.

Sorry guys, a little behind on the podcast. Listening to the March 1st podcast and the subject of guns and Starbucks. First off, I applaud Starbucks in making state law their policy and I'm glad you guys are in favor of concealed carry. I carry a gun everywhere I legally can, I'm not paranoid, I just like being prepared and with my shitty luck the one time I'd need it, I wouldn't have it. It's estimated that law abiding citizens stop over 2 million crimes a year with guns, the vast majority never have to use their firearm, the gun itself will usually make a criminal cease their shenanigans . I hope I never have to use my gun, people that carry guns aren't looking for attention, we're looking to be left alone. I just wanna go about my business without some asshole robbing, beating or shooting me. I also wear my seatbelt, I've never been in a wreck but if I am I'll be glad I wear it.

I occasionally open carry but usually conceal but I can kind of see where you guys are coming from. At the same time don't see why everyone is so afraid of an inadament object in a holster of a law abiding citizen, you should be more afraid of the concealed gun a criminal is illegally carrying. You have the right to be offended of the gun on my hip and I have the right not to give a shit.

I also disagree with you about the 2nd Amendment needing an overhaul. It's obvious gun control doesn't work, a criminal who's going to shoot someone doesn't give two shits about some silly gun law. In Chicago during 2009, where handguns are banned, there were 412 firearm murders, 405 of those were with handguns, it's obvious criminals don't give a shit about laws, they're criminals Guns control only limits us law abiding citizens who enjoy shooting and collecting guns. I will be open carrying in Yellowstone this year (BTW I applaud Obama for signing the National parks carry law), because my concealed carry permit is not valid in Wyoming, the hippies can fuck off.

I'm not a bible thumper and I'm not a conservative, I'm an Atheist and I consider myself closest to libertarian, I think gay people should have the right to marriage, I think the FCC should fuck off and I think drugs should be legal. The war on drugs is a huge source of crime, just like how the mob sprang up during prohibition, if people want something, they're going to get it, doesn't matter if it's illegal drugs, illegal alcohol or illegal guns..

What's the best way to disable a hard drive?

i noticed that am coincidentally in the entercom parking lot right now on unrelated business and I have the podcast blasting on my car stereo. funny shit. nobody can really tell or prolly cares that its on, but it pleases my sensibilities. because really, entercom is another faceless corp that if it could revel would revel in its utter lack of humanity, not being a person, of course.
